WE'RE IN THE PROCESS OF OVERHAULING OUR NEW VENUE

and are intending to open at the beginning of December if all goes to plan!

 You'll be able to immerse yourself in our inspirational décor, which celebrates great artists such as Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, Dali, Banksy, Munch, Lowry & Van Gogh. 

Check out our Heinz Edelmann room & be surrounded by the psychedelic art of The Beatles' Yellow Submarine.

OPENING HOURS​

Arty's Art Cafe will be open10 - 6 Wednesday to Sunday inclusive.

Our evening events & workshops will run from 7.30 - 9.30.

WHAT WE DO

Arty's is home to creativity of all kinds.

From crafting to jewellery-making to animation to learning ukulele to song-writing: 

we provide creative fun for everyone.​

​

Our daily art café activities range from £5 to £40 and suit ages 4 to 104.

​​

We offer 1 or 2 hour sessions where you can craft amazing creations such as mirrors, frames, notebooks & money boxes. Or you can create polymer clay or Perler bead ornaments, keyrings or jewellery or paint works of art on canvas, pot or wooden gifts.

​

We also run workshops on everything from wreathmaking to playing the harmonica to pimping up your disco boots!

​

We host parties for kids & adults and a vast array of creative events.

​

We'll be serving a variety of grazing boards for you to pick at while you create and you can enjoy a cuppa, a soft drink or one of our famous "Monster Milkshakes."

Until we get an alcohol licence you can bring your own bottle and we only charge £3 corkage per person. 

Because we serve our delicious grazing boards, you can't bring your own food. ​​​​​

ARTY'S PARTIES, EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

Ain't no party like an Arty's Party

(no matter what S Club say)!

We'll host fabulous creative parties & events for all ages. ​

Kids can paint, craft, sculpt or make their own animations in our animation studio, then watch their films with their friends in our viewing room complete with popcorn.

We'll run an array of themed paint & sip evenings from Abba to Grease to The Rocky Horror Show. All include a free glass of prosecco or juice.

​

At our creative workshops you can learn how to play the mouth organ or ukulele, crochet, write songs, structure stories, make jewellery, wreaths or greetings cards or funk-up your festival hat.

You always get to take your makes home and all materials are included in the cost.

We intend to be a creative hub at the heart of our community, so head over to our socials and let us know what creative workshops you'd like us to host.

We can tailor to your tastes for hen & stag dos, team-building or end-of-term celebrations.

​

Beatles fans can take advantage of our proximity to Penny Lane, the street that inspired their melodic masterpiece.

Come & immerse yourself in our Heinz Edelmann's Yellow Submarine room, make yourself some Beatles-themed jewellery, paint a Beatle's-themed artwork or create a Beatles-themed gift.

You can get creative whilst meeting new friends at one of our "Friendly City" nights or find your future love at one of our Single Mingles.​

Arty's gallery area will exhibit art and hand-made craft pieces from local artists and makers that you can view and purchase.
